LUMA Arles

Since its inception in 2004, the LUMA Foundation, under the visionary leadership of Maja Hoffmann, has been dedicated to supporting ambitious projects and exhibitions internationally of contemporary artists and practitioners. This commitment materialized with the creation of the LUMA Arles project in the Parc des Ateliers in 2013, establishing a creative campus that offers contemporary artists and cultural practitioners new perspectives for innovation, collaboration, and public presentation of their work.

As both a hub for artistic production and a space for public engagement, LUMA Arles produces numerous exhibitions by major artists on an annual basis. To this day LUMA Arles has commissioned and presented the work of over 100 artists, thinkers, and innovators in the Parc des Ateliers and across various locations throughout the city of Arles.
